Why end grain construction? End grain boards are the gold standard for serious cooks. The wood fibers open around the blade rather than fighting it, preserving your knife edges dramatically longer than edge-grain or plastic boards. The surface is also self-healing — it resists deep scoring over years of use — and the cross-section of the wood reveals a mosaic pattern that makes every board one of a kind.

Finish: 100% pure tung oil + 100% pure hemp oil + organic beeswax — no mineral oil, no petroleum-derived products
Adhesive: Titebond III (FDA-approved for incidental food contact)
Hardware: stainless steel screws (rust-proof for life)

Polylastomer® non-slip feet — stable on any surface, allows airflow to prevent moisture warping
Recessed handles carved flush into the wood
Edge finish options: round (1/16, 1/8, 3/16, 1/4 in) or chamfer (1/8, 3/16, 1/4 in)
